Stephen Palmer is a painter based in South East London.

Stephen has exhibited work in several private galleries and public exhibitions including The Royal Academy, The National Portrait Gallery, The Royal Festival Hall, The South Bank Centre and The Royal College of Art.

He has also won a number of awards including First Prize at the Journee des Peintres, La Flotte, Ile-de-Re (2006); First Prize at the Journee des Peintres, Loix, Ile-de-Re (2008); and The Hicks Prize, ING Discerning Eye (2011)

Stephen paints directly from the local landscape and has recently produced a series focused on Greenwich Park and Blackheath in London and the Ile de Re in France.
