Emily Crookshank

Early Successes, 2016
In June 2016 Emily was selected for the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy, the largest open submission exhibition in the world. The etching OIV was a sell-out with the entire print edition being sold over the course of the exhibition.

Shortly afterwards Emily was specially selected from the RA Summer Show by the printmaker Norman Ackroyd CBE RA to exhibit at The Original Print Show in September. The exhibition is a highly regarded collection of the top printmakers in every genre of printmaking and a huge endorsement from the master printmaker.

An artist on a roll, Emily then was invited to show at the neo:printprize exhibition showcasing excellent and innovation in contemporary printmaking and Art Hub Print Open 2016, an international exhibition across the entire range of printmaking disciplines.  Where she won First Prize for her etchings IIIOXV & IIIOXIII.

This was swiftly followed by an acceptance by the National Original Print Exhibition, an international open submission exhibition celebrating the best of contemporary printmaking, established by the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers. Emily had two works accepted which went on show in September at the Bankside Gallery next to the Tate Modern.

Huge congratulations to Emily for a fantastic line-up of accolades and such success so well earned.
