After 10 years in London Emily moved up to Scotland with her etching press in 2021.
She now lives and works on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park where the landscape has provided an endless source of inspiration and had an intensely creative impact on her work.
'There is something mystical, even mythical living here surrounded by the mountains. Inspired by this place I have come to see that is it one thing in life to life 'wholeheartedly' but to live with a dragon heart is to live with a fire inside you. I aspire to live my life dragon-hearted.'
