In early 2011 Tom Hoar was selected by the Royal Society of British Artists' to show his oil painting ‘Fishermen, Essaouira’ at their Annual Exhibition.

As one of approximately 140 artists selected from over 1000 submissions, Tom was part of their prestigious annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London in March 2011.

Founded in 1823 the Royal Society of British Artists is one of London’s oldest artistic establishments representing the ‘leading edge’ of artists.  Promoting ‘a renaissance of core aesthetic values within the visual arts,’ the RBA ‘advocates the highest standards of skill, expression and concept.’ 

Tom Hoar’s selection is a fantastic achievement and striking testament to his increasing recognition amongst the top representational artists working today.
